<p>During the Paleolithic era, everything is eaten raw. Everything is taken out from the wild including the fruits and grasses. Fire was not yet discovered during this time until the half way through the era which is sometime around 6000 BCE. People became hunters and they gather everything they see as food including the honey. Honey which is produced by bees which have been around where plants are also present. The proof of discovery was a fossilized bee embedded in amber and believed to be about 100 million years old.</p>
<p>Making sense isn’t it? Honey indeed is Paleo. By that time, Stone Man/woman hadn’t discovered yet about how to get the honeycomb away from the bees, but when they did figure out the entire process of getting the honey without disturbing the bees, they began to have an ample supply of honey to consume. They may not have the equipment to properly harvest the honey, but as they evolved into a Thinking man, they began to use their imagination and acted upon what they have realized was the best thing to do.</p>
<p>Having said that, Honey is considered one of the ancient and most “Paleo” foods ever enjoyed by ancient people during those eras. That is probably one of the many reasons why ancient people lived longer than the modern people nowadays.</p>
